lentils make for an extremely healthy side dish. they can be made into soups, casseroles, or patties.
- add 3 cups liquid (water, broth) and 1 cup dry lentils to a saucepan or pot.
- bring to a boil, cover, and reduce the heat to a simmer until the lentils are tender.
