counter culture invests heavily in their growing communities, and in doing so have developed decades-long relationships with small-scale coffee farms.

counter culture buys the product before it leaves it country of origin, in many cases before the coffee is harvested, which shares the purchase intentions with suppliers ahead of time, allowing farmers to better prepare for costs.

with their "seeds program", counter culture offers financial support for sustainability projects in farming communities on the ground. 1 cent of each pound of coffee sold goes towards the seeds program!
